Baby Watch

This month we are expecting lots of babies in our family. On Monday, my niece Annie had a little boy, Finn. What a darling name! Today is the due date for my step daughter. No word yet but she's a nurse and she keeps telling me all the technical details of the baby's position and dilation, etc. She is still stressing over names but I've told her that whatever she names him, it will be perfect. She has thrown out at least 25 names and I say to each one, "That's a nice name!" Then she gives me the reasons why that name won't work out and goes on to the next choice. At this point, I have no idea what names are even in the running. All I know is that it is going to be a boy and that I love him already.

One of my designers did a project with our new "Baby's First Year" Live Life sticker. It includes cards for each month in a baby's lst year. I love this idea and I hope to be able to make a set for my new grandbaby that will be just as cute as Lindsay's set. But even if it is not just as cute, it will be my best effort at card making. I will have fun doing it and after all, isn't that the point? Do something you love for someone you love.

Talk to Me

Writing a blog is lots of fun. It's like keeping a journal but sometimes you wish you knew what the reader is thinking. What ideas do you have? What do you really think? So I've decided to ask you to "Talk to Me". If you think of something that you would like to see from us, talk to me. If you have a comment, concern or question, talk to me. If there is a theme you would love to see us do, let me know. My job is to keep you happy. The only way I can do that is to know what you want.

Being in business is really a partnership. I am working with stores and with consumers to fill the needs of scrapbookers. Sometimes when we produce a product, we not only fill a need but create excitement around a new idea. If you are a store and have something to say, let me know. If you are a consumer and you have an idea, talk to me. Help us to fill the needs of people like you.

I'm listening.

Just Stickers!

Sometimes I hear people say "Oh, do you only make stickers? Just stickers?" I beg to differ with you but stickers aren't "Just stickers", stickers are totally cool. I would go so far as to say that they are, along with paper, the building blocks of scrapbooking. Over the past 3 years I have played with our stickers, teaming them up with amazing products from some of the hottest companies around The results? The projects that we have created are not "Just Stickers" they are "Just Awesome"! I was at a meeting last week of a buying group at CHA. I showed the ladies some of our latest classes and they were totally jazzed. The response from one store owner to our projects was simply "WOW!"
You could say that she was pretty much speechless.

If you don't have much time to do your scrapbooking or crafting projects and you want to make something fabulous, why not give stickers a try? You will be amazed at what you can create and stickers will become for you, as they have become for me, a way to tell a story and give extra definition to all of your great projects.

By the way, the journal that's pictured in this blog is so easy to make. It takes just about an hour. Ask your local scrapbook store to give you the directions. And with all the extra time you have left over? Go out with your kids and make more memories. Enjoy!
