The project shown here may look difficult, but it's not. In fact it's simple to make. I like simplicity. I think that it is a good thing. It helps you to see that sometimes less is more. And most importantly, it frees up more time in your life.
Creative simplicity is a really good thing. When it comes to artistic pursuits, everyone is creative. Some of us just don’t know it. Creativity requires confidence and simplicity is the perfect format for us to discover and undercover our creativity and build our confidence. Creative simplicity is not about comparing ourselves to others. It is about finding our own style. The point is to enjoy the creative process and to enjoy the precious projects you create for you and your family.
But simple does not necessarily mean beginner. It spans the spectrum of skill levels. If you are new to paper crafts, it is easy to reject projects just because you think that they look too difficult. Don’t fall into that trap. You may be pleasantly surprised to find that many projects that look hard, once broken down into simple steps, are easy to make. If you are more advanced, you may reject projects because you think that the products used are too elementary for your skill level. Take a chance on simpler projects and you will most likely be pleasantly surprised to find that using the most basic products can result in the most awesome projects! And give you more time to do more projects.
Whatever your level of skill, within the framework of simple, you can create projects using basic products with results that are fantastic! Using paper, stickers, ribbon and brads, you can create a wonderful project in very little time. And you can create more projects, at a lower cost, with less stress.
Embrace simplicity in your creative endeavors. You won’t regret it.
