I must confess that I am beginning to panic about Christmas gifts. I have organized some of my gifts but I'm really worried about what to do for many of the gifts for the people on my list. Then I got an epiphany! Calendars! I can make calendars! Or I can make kits that has everything in it so that they can make their own calendar. I have some friends and family that love to make things. Check them off the list....they will get a calendar kit. And then there are others that don't craft at all. OK...I will make them their calendars. The great thing about calendars is that there are million different themes that you can do. If you have a friend who is crazy for her cat, make a cat themed calendar. If you have a relative that is wild for travel, make a travel related calendar. If you have someone you know who is having a baby, do a countdown to baby calendar. You will enjoy deciding all the different ways that you can make a calendar and your friends and familiy will be thrilled to get something besides the same old same old. This is a win-win plan. You have fun. They have fun. And when you tailor the calendar to each person it lets them know that you really know who are they are. That's always such a good feeling. When you get just the perfect gift for a person. So make a list and check it twice and organize who you want to make your calendars or calendar kits for. You'll be surprised how many people on your list will be great candidates for a crafty Christmas present!
